Account Registration

To access our platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend any account that provides false information or violates these Terms.

Subscription Plans and Payment

We offer a tiered subscription model designed to scale with your creative needs. By subscribing, you agree to the specific limits and fees associated with your chosen plan.

The 7-Day All-Access Trial
New accounts are eligible for a one-time 7-day All-Access Trial. During this period, you will have access to Premium-tier features. Upon the expiration of the 7 days, your account will automatically transition to the Free Plan unless a paid subscription is active.
Subscription Tiers
- Free Plan: Following the expiration of the 7-day trial, the Free Plan includes full access to the document editor, unlimited canvas use and creation, and access to all writing templates. The Free Plan does not include any AI model generations.
- Basic Plan ($10/mo or $96/yr): Includes 1,000 base generations per month, all templates, Document Upload, and Auto-tagging.
- Standard Plan ($20/mo or $192/yr): Includes Unlimited Base Generations, 300 Core Generations per month, and 8 Advanced Reasoning Generations per 3-hour rolling window. Includes all templates, Document Upload, and Auto-tagging.
- Premium Plan ($40/mo or $384/yr): Includes Unlimited Base Generations, 750 Core Generations per month, and 15 Advanced Reasoning Generations per 3-hour rolling window. Includes all templates, Document Upload, and Auto-tagging.
Rolling Usage Limits for Advanced Reasoning Models
Standard and Premium plans include an allotment of Advanced Reasoning generations governed by a rolling time window rather than a daily reset.
- Standard Plan: 8 Advanced Reasoning generations per 3-hour window.
- Premium Plan: 15 Advanced Reasoning generations per 3-hour window.
How the Rolling Limit Works:
You may send up to your plan's limit (8 or 15 messages) within any 3-hour period. Each individual advanced credit resets exactly 3 hours after the specific time it was used. Unused capacity does not accumulate beyond the specified limit.
AI Model Tier Definitions
To provide a variety of creative and analytical capabilities, Story Prism categorizes its AI assistants into three tiers based on their speed, logic, and prose quality:
- Base Models: High-speed, efficient models designed for rapid brainstorming, world-building, and quick drafting.
- Current models include: GPT 4.1 Mini, Gemini 2.5 Flash, DeepSeek V3, GPT-5 Mini, and Grok 4 Fast (Non-Reasoning).
- Core Models: High-quality, balanced models designed for nuanced scene work, character development, and improved prose.
- Current models include: Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Grok 3, and O4-Mini.
- Advanced Reasoning Models: Our most powerful models designed for deep narrative analysis, solving complex plot holes, and identifying logical inconsistencies.
- Current models include: GPT-5, Sonnet 4.5, Gemini 2.5 Pro, Grok 4 (Reasoning), and Claude-Opus 4.1.
Note on Model Availability: Ionia Media, Inc. reserves the right to update, add, or remove specific models from these tiers at any time to ensure optimal performance and service quality.
Billing and Refunds
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and will auto-renew unless canceled through your account dashboard prior to the next billing cycle. Fees are non-refundable except at our sole discretion or where required by law.

Use of the Service and AI Generations

The platform categorizes AI responses (“Generations“) into three tiers:

Base Generations: High-speed models for general brainstorming and drafting.
Core Generations: High-quality models for nuanced prose and character development.
Advanced Reasoning: Powerful models for deep narrative analysis and complex logic.

Fair Use Policy
“Unlimited“ generations are intended for manual, human creative use only. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts displaying behavior that suggests automated use, bot activity, or abuse that degrades the service for other users. Unused monthly generations do not roll over to the following month.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or offensive purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, crawl, or interfere with the Service or its underlying systems.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its API access without express permission.

User Content and Ownership

Your Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate using Story Prism (including stories, notes, prompts, and uploaded documents). We claim no ownership over your intellectual property.
Data Privacy and Training
We utilize a “no-training“ policy. We grant ourselves a limited license to store and process your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. We will not use your creative content or uploaded data for marketing purposes or to train AI models.

AI Content Disclaimer

Our Service leverages large-scale language models to assist with creative writing.

Inaccuracy: AI responses are automatically generated and may contain factual inaccuracies, biased perspectives, or inappropriate suggestions.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before use, distribution, or publication.
Ethics: We do not endorse the views or outputs generated by the AI.

Third-Party Services

Our Service utilizes third-party providers to function. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by:

Payment Processing: Stripe.
AI Model Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), xAI (Grok), and DeepSeek.
Analytics: Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity.

These providers have their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them as they govern their specific interactions with your data.

Intellectual Property

All platform components, including but not limited to the user interface, proprietary templates, system design, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Ionia Media, Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute these materials without written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but ownership of your content remains with you.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.“ To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ionia Media, Inc. disclaims all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss or business interruption) arising from your use of the Service.

Age Restriction

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If we become aware that a user does not meet this requirement, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email or platform announcement. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
